o totally agree with you. when i saw that in the video i almost shit. it’s an embarrassment to colorado bouldering and not at all representative of the ethics that real locals practice. number one, its a fuckin’ national park, and number two, trimming trees like that only opens them up to disease and pests. how hard could it have been to cut those branches flush against the tree…fuckin’ lame ass, know-it-all, “professional” climbers…its ok to do anything to an ecosystem(building outrageous landings, cutting down trees, trundling huge boulders out of the way) as long as you can climb v14.
